The Ranch Dressing Incident

Wow, has it really been that long since I posted? Time sure does fly!

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanuka and Happy New Year!

So what is the ranch dressing incident? Well, a few weeks back on a lazy Friday night when no one wanted to cook we went to KFC for dinner. Shame on me, I know... very un-diety eh? So anyway, Angie wasn't very excited about dinner, but did amuse herself playing with packet of ranch dressing while we finished our meal. I didn't pay it too much mind, nor did I think much about it when we got in the car to go home.

In the pitch dark of the car, about three miles or so down the highway on the way home I heard a distinct "POP", but I wasn't sure what it was. Angie was quietly amusing herself while Lenny and I talked in the front seat. All was well in the world.

Then about two minutes later the strong scent of Ranch dressing wafted to the front of the car from the back seat and my mind quickly put two and two together. I turned on the overhead light and sure enough, there was Angie (and her carseat) covered in Ranch dressing! She was merrily rubbing it all over her hands like an expensive skin lotion and didn't look at all displeased. I quickly snagged the then empty Ranch packet from here, but really it was too late.

Quote of the day

"Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.
So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit."

Angie's first product endorsement!

I have now lost 30.5 lbs on Weight Watchers! Yay me! I believe I owe a big part of that to:
  • Well, Weight Watchers (of course) - the Core Plan - I highly recommend it
  • Monster Baby - she eats half of my meals, which cuts down on my food consumption
  • Newman's Own Low Fat Sesame Ginger Dressing!

Let me tell you, I've always enjoyed salads, but certainly not every day. However, now that I've discovered this dressing I eat a salad every day for lunch and sometimes one for dinner too, and I'm excited about each an every one! The salad is simple... romaine lettuce, tomato, red onion, chicken and almond slivers (a must)... and the dressing of course. Really, I mean it, it's awesome! And I'm not alone in that assessment, I have several others who happily agree.

Surely it's bad for you, right NO! It even passed the Elizabeth test! It contains nothing scary or unhealthy.

Run, don't walk, to your nearest market and get some! Before I eat it all! :)
